"I want to vanish inside your kiss."
So, moving past sickedness, I'm now just awake and kind of tired. But since I slept from 2 PM til 8 PM on Saturday, and then from 6 AM to 9 PM... Well, while I am tired, my eyes don't want to stay closed. Which sucks, 'cause I'd really like to just sleep.
I've not heard from Jay since Thursday, which concerns me. I hope he didn't get sick (again) also, because since he was already sick with mono, that could cause some serious complications. I've called him twice and left him two messages, but he's yet to get back to me.
The show went well. I was Frank, and I had a lot of fun, walking back on stage for curtain call just really happy; I think it was a good show. I'm never certain when I'm Frank... He's on stage a lot, but he just doesn't look around him a lot. "Sweet Transvestite" he looks at Brad and Janet randomly, the Transylvanians, and then Columbia... Lab Scene's mostly to the Transylvanians (or, in our case, the audience). Then Rocky... He does the bedroom scenes which never really involve eye contact... Whipping scene, which involves shifting eyes between Riff Raff, Brad, and Dr. Scott. Dinner scene's where he looks around the most, although much of my focus was on Magenta and Riff Raff last night... "Planet Schament" is all about Janet, until the very end, where it's briefly shared with Brad, Dr. Scott, even less with Janet, and then with Columbia. Floorshow... He looks away from the audience maybe... twice? So, yeah, in short - I never am aware of what's going on when I'm Frank. It's a role that sort of requires you to be self-centred. Hm.
My "fan club" was there. They are scary. I appreciate them, but they are scary. I was hearing my name over and over by mostly high-pitched voices. It was very surreal. And kind of distracting.
So, following the show, I went dinerward and actually ate something... And it didn't make me sick. Good thing, this. Back home. Sleep. Lots of sleep. I did wake up a few times to answer the phone, or to have Joyce ask if I was "feeling any better at all". In that kinda of tone where it sounds like I'm dying. I'm fine; I just haven't had any restful sleep since the beginning of last week.
And it looks like I'll be waiting for that again maybe in a few hours.
