Innocent

"I've got my own hell to raise."

Ok, so this past weekend was filled with debauchery, bondage, and glitter. Ok, so it wasn't my debauchery and it wasn't my bondage - but it was so totally my glitter.

Jeff Mach held his Cult Movie Overnight party and I was a part of his "Rocky Horror Ritual Show" (a screenless, semi-improvisational telling of Rocky that cut some stuff, and added some scenes). It was a lot of fun, and I played Frank. I have heard nothing but good things from my performance. A lesbian said I was beautiful. I take that as one of the highest compliments, easily.

The overnight was all sorts of Mach-obsession including his fondness for cult movies (of which I didn't see any, 'cept for RHPS), magick, bondage, and the aforementioned Rocky Horror revelry. I would've checked out the magick if it wasn't for the impromptu cast meeting, and the bondage demo I stepped in and out of (so not my thing, but was interesting to watch on occassion).

Also got to see lots of people; HOH-related people included Genevieve [who performed as Eddie], Christian, Michael [who did the sound], and Danielle [who performed as Janet] (all of whom I shared a room with), Willow [who performed as Trixie and Columbia], Matt(y) D., Sha-ma-nin!, John Reid, Leapop [who performed as Brad], Adam, Nora, Inga, Little 1 (who was the sweetest person ever and gave me a spiked choker at no cost; I wore it during the show in gratitude), and Crazy Jen (who was looking for Marc). Also met some cool people that I was able to perform with, including Cookie [Rocky] and Michellina [Magenta]. So, as Frank plays around with Rocky, Janet, and Brad - why, yes... they were all played by girls. Ah, well...

We stayed at a Holiday Inn, and it was good stuff, really. I got to wander the halls in full Frank gear, went to a diner with Genevieve and Sha-ma-nin to pick up food (once again, in full Frank gear), was asked for a picture (I was dressed in kinda-Tommy-Gnosis clothes), took a group picture with lots of the people I mentioned before where we all looked awesome, and was hit on by someone I'll call Sailor Boy (it was the hat). I declined. He was probably really too young for me. But there were plenty of girls ready and willing. Mmm. I declined those, too. But for different reasons.

Pizzaria Uno happened after check-out on Sunday and cool people were there too. Food was had, and Adam was so unbelievably kind to give me the finest backrub I ever experienced.

We had a cast meeting (HOH, that is) at 5, and it was nominations. Things were predictable, some things really, really weren't.

As for today, not much terribly... I slept a lot on Monday. I was recovering from the weekend, I assume. Classes were ok (and just ok) on Monday. Home, complete terror on LJ moments after (see last entry), and food. Followed by lots o' sleep and lots o' weird dreams. Awake by noon (officially - I lounged in bed, fading in and out of sleep for a few hours after first waking up at 9), and computer-ward after.

Life is such.

"When I can't find a single star to hang my wish upon, I just move on."

I have a brother and a nephew all in one.

Michelle went into labour yesterday, but when she went to the hospital, they said that it wasn't time. Well, it became time very soon after that, as she was rushed from a doctor's appointment to the hospital today. Daniel Berrigan has been born at 7 lbs., some ounces.

Not entirely sure when Dad and Michele take over full custody of him, exactly... It may be immediately, or already. I haven't talked to Dad in over a month, so I don't know how things went with that, legally.

Mmm.
