"It wakes up inside, that strange wind that cries."
Life... so much!
Matt and I have been together for (now) over a year! This both excites me and blows me away.
To celebrate this momentous occasion, we went to New York, mostly Canal and Christopher. We got on-the-spur tickets to Naked Boys Singing. It was quite good (very short), and two men in particular ("The Naked Maid" and the "Perky Little Porn Star") were quite pretty.
Still no ring.
We were back in time for the show, where I had a quite decent night. I once again forgot something: my bow tie. How I forgot my bow tie is a mystery to me since it never leaves my bag, but it happened all the same. I borrowed that and glasses from Sean. Sean has been exceptionally nice about lending me things for a really long time. The glasses broke two weeks ago, when I tore them off my face for "Ungrateful?!" Chad took the part that broke off and proceeded and chew on it. So, gluing them together suddenly became less of an option.
I'll have to get another pair for next week.
Matt and I are working all different places on different things over the next two weeks. Plus, I have a project for the Oscar Night show. This project is both daunting - but fun, in theory. But, it requires a lot of video work, which will break me in the hard way to work on the Brookhaven tape. I have to start those interviews, too. I'll practice on Matt this week. I'll come up with more questions.
I have a lot of really cool ideas for the Brookhaven tape (and the Oscar Night project, as well, too) that I have to sketch out appropriately.
Speaking of the Kids and Danielle (well, actually, I was having an internal thought process that suddenly shifted to them, but speaking of them all the same), I spent Sunday with them. Merriment was had by all. After the show, we went to the diner, and then headed back to Union. Michael clocked out by a little after 6 AM, but Danielle and Genevieve and I stayed up far longer. It was nice; a lot like Montclair.
Discussions revolved around Melissa Etheridge guttural moans ("It's Only Me"), where the hell Spark lived (Oakland), and probably sex at some point.
In the afternoon, after discussing uncomfortable sexual experiences, we got Chinese good and watched Wet, Hot American Summer, which was okay. Some genuinely funny moments, though. Some, not.
I believe that's all that's been going on... But likely to not stay that way.
Oh, yes, and -- I finally saw The Body... That was one of the most uncomfortable-looking episodes ever. Brilliant, of course. But definately shivery.
