I'm going through past Rocky tapes... Finally compiling them onto my computer. The first to be ripped was backstage and diner footage of the last night in the Screening Zone.

So, yeah, all nostalgic and everything. But also really surprised... I talk a lot with my hands... I'm sitting in the diner booth, swatching my hands back and forth, my hair slicked back in Columbia's Mickey Mouse ears, unfashionably faded and oversized jeans, and my favourite gray shirt.

"That's me?!" Yzma's voice ringing clear in my head: "That's my voice?! That's my voice?!"

Heh, apparently.

Also: I have so entirely spoiled by Iris, my work computer. Gaah was lovely and all. And it still is. But, it's so friggin' slow. And it's slow to the point where I don't even want to take the time it'll take to go through it and delete all the many useless gigs. There's nothing I can't do faster on Iris. Gaah has been very underappreciated the last several months.

Even still, I'm using her now only begrudgingly, because Iris is busy with the rendering of video footage from a show back in May '03 (last thing I saw was Willow doing Trixie). So, I'm here using Gaah.

Poor Gaah. Maybe I will take the time now to delete some stuff on her.

Yesterday, when I was trying to figure out what was wrong with Iris not letting me rip video (and before Matt spent three hours fixing it), Matt went to Pathmark.

When Matt returned, he said that Walter (our standard check-out guy) inquired why Matt was alone (and I wasn't there.)

This amuses me greatly. I've never spoken to Walter, but apparently he's been very much aware that every other time Matt's been to Pathmark after 10 PM, I've been there, too.

Heh; I don't know why it amused me so. But indeed it did.
