Awake

"No one really seems to care."

I have been so tired.
Bored

"Is it so hard to satisfy your senses?"

Celebrities that I have seen interviewed and have since reconsidered their mental capacity:

-- Avril Lavigne
I know, cheap shot. I like Avril, though. I like her music, and think she's had some inventive (if not revolutionary) videos. All the same, she's a spaz. I know that I --and everyone else in the world-- can interview bad. We panic, we get nervous. However, Avril is incredibly oblivious to her incoherency. And she cannot sit still.

-- Shania Twain
I used to love Come on Over, but I'm thinking it was a phase more than me being ruined by Shania's incredibly awful interview during a Thanksgiving special some years ago. After all, I hated The Woman in Me and Up! was a good sixteen tracks overlong. All the same, she's a brick. I have difficulty listening to her for more than a few songs. I've also realized the woman's lyrics are often horrifyingly, wretchedly bad.

-- Gwen Stefani
This hurt me greatly because I adore Gwen. I'm willing to overlook any interview transgressions and blame it on nerves, because she does actually seem skittish in 'views.

There are celebrities that I originally thought were dumb until I saw them interviewed as well. Most of those were on Inside the Actor's Studio, which I really do adore watching, even if I don't really care about the person James Lipton is interviewing.
