Drawn, Abstract

"I don't know what my intentions are; they're speaking in a different tongue."

I got my Bank of America debit card. I tried it out on MaryPrankster.com and got two CDs from her... I tried to get a legit copy of Tell Your Friends, but their site's store didn't let me. I also got two calendars, with up'd my spending thus far slightly over $50. I was trying to stay within a $50 limit, so with penance, I'm holding off spending until I get my check for this week.

I don't want to go crazy and buy everything in reach. There's a certain terrible freedom that comes with cash in an accessible bank account that one can trick oneself into calling "disposable." While my next rent check (a more modest $400-some instead of the deadly $900 from last month) isn't due until the end of March, I also realize that my income is weekly, and it's not that much. So, no craziness. I shouldn't be buying anymore than I usually do for anything. Some weeks, I spend maybe $20 on food. Some, I get a CD or something. This week, I got two CDs and two calendars (one being shipped from the UK). So, I was a little generous to myself. I'm not into hock yet.

Matt and I have been watching season three of Alias. It is definitely the most insidious season yet. I love seasons one and two (yay Irina Derevko!), but season three is steady-as-it-comes evil! I love it, and am both flabbergasted by all the shit that's changed only barely halfway through, and that there's still more to go!

I've got lots of projects stewing inside my head. I can't get a damn thing on paper, though.
