"A chance to start it all again..."
From George's Life Soundtrack--
-- "Til Death Do Us Part," by Madonna [1992]
Strangely, one of the first songs on Madonna's Like a Prayer that I really latched onto was "Til Death Do Us Part." And likely not for any real reason other than it was catchy, sounded cool (and completely unlike I've heard before or since-- from any artist). It's this great, strange song, and it's fun to sing. Incidentally, about physical and mental abuse during marriage! See, I wasn't always so critical about lyrics applying to me in some part for me to care about it.
I loved that album a lot (it was one of my first cassettes). As dated as it unfortunately sounds (ironic, if only because her earlier 80's stuff still sounds fresh to me), it's still an awesome album.
