"This one's my favorite one, this one you can't have."
I am utterly addicted to the iTunes Originals... I've already got Fiona Apple, Alanis Morissette, and Liz Phair. I'm now downloading Sheryl Crow, the Cardigans, Melissa Etheridge, and Sarah McLachlan. I really wish Garbage, the Dresden Dolls (give them time), Gwen Stefani/No Doubt (Rob Thomas did it without matchbox twenty, after all, but I haven't thought to really care enough to get it), Madonna (impossible to not think of), Ani DiFranco, or pretty much anyone that I like.
I'm really into listening to this type of "Storytellers" stuff. I love listening to interviews (Amanda Palmer and Madonna, generally-- Tori is the only who bugs the hell out me now, when she talks) from my favorite musicians, so even if the e-album is all about just talking and playing songs I already know, and only a few new versions pop up, I'm totally cool with it. Love the Fiona one especially; it actually made me like her a lot more.
I was all against the iTunes like a year ago. I have reformed. At least when it comes to the shit I can't get anywhere else.
