"Don't you think I know there's so many others?"
Today, Matt and Jamie, and I went to the GLBT Expo (as opposed to the Gay Life Expo) in New York City. It was a fun time, and I got to see Josh Zuckerman, who I love. He sang "Devil Went Down to Georgia" (of course), and two new songs, one of them called "Roses." He has a new album coming out in July. He didn't stay very long, and left immediately after his set. I didn't get to say anything to him, but I probably would've bumbled like an idiot anyway.
Afterward, against better judgment, I suggested we go to see Stay Alive. While it's certainly not my genre (I get scared easily and this film was no exception), it was well done. I am amazed and a little disturbed that it was rated PG-13. While the language was minimal (a character says "go fuck yourself" and there's only trace amounts of other profanity), the violence was considerable. I actually did think it was R, going in. It was only after the film when I glanced at the ticket that I realized it was PG-13.
