"Try to understand."
Okay, so I don't even know Iron Man as a comic book character outside of the one or two Avengers monthlies that I may have glanced at a decade ago, but I loved the film. I do not think Gwenyth Paltrow was as shockingly good as friends mine do (granted, many of them hate or dislike Paltrow in general so them liking her here was that much more embiggened) but I did like her a lot. I appreciate Terrence Howard and even Jeff Bridges (who I guess you could say is my Paltrow: don't like him at all ever... except here), and Robert Downey Jr. was excellent.
One of the very best superhero films ever. Won't make me forget Batman Begins or Batman Returns, but it's probably the best one Marvel's popped out... maybe ever. Then again, I never was a huge fan of the Spider-Man movies.
My favorite superhero-genre films: Batman Begins, Batman Returns, X-Men 2, Superman Returns (I am a bad geek and have no memory of any of the Christopher Reeve films), Constantine, Iron Man
My least favorite superhero-genre films: Ghost Rider, Catwoman (not as bad as I was promised, but not very good), Daredevil
Ones I have to still see (and actually have an interest in seeing): Sin City, Superman (all 3 Reeve), Fantastic Four, V is for Vendetta
