Genevieve and Michael got married this past weekend. I didn't expect to cry during my speech, but I did. I cried during writing it, which sucked even more. But it was a lot of fun after that! I tore up the dance floor, got down with sexy ladies (and Richy to boot), and even sorta-jitterbugged with Joyce. It was over far too soon. I don't experience enough dance parties. The third week if not sooner I get a theatrespace for White Elephant, Viktor's having some monthly dance parties.

A good time had at gaming and hanging out with Genevieve, Michael, Danielle, and Willow. It was one of the last few sessions that we have together until Willow moves to Massachusetts (which is "old news" by about 2.5 weeks, but respectfully not written about 'til Willow made the official notice to cast, etc.)

Gaming was good, and completely tailspinned into new, strange possibilities that may or may involve me ever again... I'm not in the primary action, and may have unexpectedly written myself out by not taking the same path as the others. We'll see how next Monday goes. I'm okay with this in the short run, as the long run cannot be determined hour to hour let alone session to session.

Fortunately, because we all had July 4 off, it was a long night. Even after we finished gaming around 2, Willow, Genevieve, and I kept talking until we each dropped off one by one til maybe 5.

On July 4 proper, Willow had to leave, and the rest of us headed to Ruby Tuesday's where we saw [squirrel]Phil from Union County. He's adorable, still. He was our waiter. He looked older. Do I look older? Does Danielle? I have no idea... but that he recognized us and we were able to figure who he was after a few years, was amazing. He looks really good. Missed opportunities, I guess. Not that he _ever_ expressed any interest in me in college.

Afterwards, we went back to Danielle's and played a new game called Burn in Hell, which was made by the people who made Munchkin. It was a solid game, if a little bloated and sketchy directions-wise. I lost both times we played, but it was fun.

We finished the night nearly getting all the way through Clue. I'm home now. I'm kind of ready to go to sleep. Matt's busy working, and I'm coming off a big socialization jag, so I feel kinda left out. I think I'll just take a shower and expect sleep soon after. I have a lot of work tomorrow, and the rest of the week.

This past weekend, I had my first guests over the house. The Kids and Danielle came over, and it was a nice time. Two different smoke alarms went off in two different days... and both I threw into the freezer and after they stopped shrieking, I hid them in my shirt drawer.

On Saturday, we had a very good, laid-back show... I really wish I had more to say about it, or anything. Because nothing was bad... My head's just shot.

I'm feeling kinda lethargic and not exactly the most clear-headed at the moment. I'm very tired, because I stayed up after the diner til after 10 because I had to call Matt at 10 to wake him up and didn't trust myself to wake up. He was already awake when I called. That only bugs me now that I have had five or so hours of sleep.

Firstly - Curious. I come home, aware that I was out a lot later than I expected, but according to Jake's LJ, he thought I was going to be home Sunday night, so no message on my machine. This leads to be believe he once again did not attempt to call. Curious.

However - This was a good weekend. I got a red puffy hat. And I like it.

On Friday, the Kids picked Danielle and then me up and we went to see Jeckyll and Hyde at Plays in the Park... The music's largely derivitive of Les Miserables, but the ones that came out of the best were the female lead ballads. "Someone Like You" is gorgeous. "Bring on the Men" is just fun. And they're both sung by Lucy, the best character, so huzzah.

Speaking of huzzah, on Saturday was Renn Faire, which was lots and lots of fun. I got a gay pride chain necklace and a deep red poofy hat (squire-esque) and got to see lots of cool things. The Forest walk was kinda lame, but the final battle was really cool (they actually had a Morgan La Fey, I was so happy!) and the Tragedy of Errors (Hamlet, Macbeth, and Romeo and Juliet at the same time) was really very well done. The chess game was also really cool. It was lots of fun, but I was concerned that I'd get eaten alive or burned into coal by the mosquitos and the sun, respectively. Neither occured.

Saturday's Rocky went over well. I was Trixie and Transie and gods-damn, my Transie sucks. However, my Trixie went over well (Liz says I have a nice ass.) and I got $6 in tips. I went simple; all black... fishnet shirt, pleather pants, black eyeliner, black lips, black nails, "fishnet" knee-highs, pleather jacket. I didn't trip and I didn't forget the words... I was oddly comfortable, really. But, yeah, t'was fun and if I come up with a different outfit, I'd love to do it again.

However, the only downside to Trixie is that means I'm Transie or Tech. I don't get Tech, um, ever and Transie I'm learning that I've just outgrown. "Outgrown" meaning I've learned to love my other roles far better. I used to love being Transie. I have intermediate fun when it comes to Transie these days. I sort of not know exactly what to do once I'm off stage. I know a lot of AP, but I've spent so much time blocking it as Frank and Brad (to hear my cues and be in sync with the lines) I sort of forget it. I know it offhand, but give me the chance to do it on time and I'll remember only the stuff that the Transies say on stage. Once I'm the audience, I'm rather useless.

I haven't posted the cast list on LJ for weeks, so here was this past Saturdays: Liz as Frank, Danielle as Janet, Sean as Brad, Marc as Riff Raff, Teresa as Magenta, Carrie as Columbia, Genevieve as Eddie and Dr. Scott, Jason as Rocky, Gamsby as Criminologist; Transies: Genevieve, Nate, George, Larry; Tech: Erin, Michael, Angelo, Gary.

It was a pretty good show, though. Even if I almost killed Teresa (who fell right over me on the steps). She was okay, so all was okay.

CFR ensued.

There was no cast meeting on Sunday, although there was supposed to be one. Danielle and I, at the Kids', spent the day mostly sleeping and then we got up and actually did stuff, like go over Larry and Chad's for Adult Swim. Amusing, but highly overrated. Like the Robin Williams comedy special before it. Ack.

So then Danielle was returned home and the Kids and I went dinering yet again (Jeepers, the dinering this weekend!).

Fun!

So, yeah, all in all, a damn good weekend, dammit.

Friday Night. Fun time with The Kids and Willow! We went to Borders and supermarket spelunking, which was lots of fun. I got the Dick Tracy and Cruel Intentions DVDs so I'm all aglow. The Tracy DVD is boring in terms of features (hey, anyone wanna watch "Sooner or Later" with French subtitles?) but I've yet to look at Cruel. That'll be later Monday I'm sure. Also got some extra food like cereal and stuff 'cause I'm still home alone for another week.

Saturday
More Kids! And more Willow! Plus, Danielle and Carrie! Wow... It was fun! We went government private property exploring... Excellent fun, even if cut short kinda sorta 'cause of buggism and over-grown-ded-ness of the plants. That's ok, we sorta replanned to check it out again.
Wetness! Watery stuff was fun, and by the end of "rinsing off our feet briefly in the ocean" we were mostly soaked. Fun, fun, fun!
Also that day - Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash, where I stared at the Dogma and Chasing Amy memorabilia and really psyched. We also went through cool thrifty-but-expensive stores and a cool music place (I found Tim Curry's greatest hits but chose against it at the last minute... another time, perhaps). Fun!
As for the show... I had fun. I was Frank. But people are stupid. Stupider than they know, and should learn to proccess things before they speak. Or better yet, proccess and then don't speak. Regardless.

Sunday
Not much to say; slept at Danielle's. We watched Some Like it Hot following diner and I collapsed on the floor soon after. After waking up 4, we watched Madonna's Girlie Show DVD and... stuff... I know we did something to have the hours go by so fast... Oh, we ate. And played Scrabble. Cheating, uh, creative playing, is fun.
I got home, read a LJ comment that pissed me off, e-mailed the boy that plagues me effortlessly, and cut the necklace he gave me from around my neck.

And now I await for an absolution, which may never come.

Basically, I wanted to report the good things that happened this weekend after focusing so heavily on the bad (despite that, yeah, it was a little more prominent in my head at the time):

In other words, The Emperor's New Groove was seen.

Today was essentially the last day of school. Tomorrow's just yearbook/lecture day and next week is purely a formality. I'm almost gone. Almost.

Today was alternately wonderful, with sadness from Genevieve and Danielle mixed in... We seemed in better spirits at Episode II, where Mike, Genevieve, Danielle, Jake watched the kick-ass Yoda sequence (and, um, the rest of the movie) again ['cept for Jake - this was his first time... We were gentle. ;)]. I didn't think I'd enjoy watching it again so soon after watching it the first time, and Jake next to me was pretty distracting, but I really enjoyed the second time as well. I knew to look for things this time. If Joyce ever sees it with me, it'll make time #3 and probably not a bad thing, either. Even if the child actors suck and I hate Anakin's whining (AKA entire presence).

Besides that, we hung out at Toys R Us for at least an hour, mostly running around after one another and zippin' on scooters. We're a fun bunch.

Diner came after (Scotchwood) where Bohemian poetry came to pass (rather amusing really - I think I'll post it at CFR in a few minutes)... and lots of sexual innuendo. You know. The usual.

Eventually we made it back to Plainfield, were I said my ten minute goodbye to all, particularly Jake (who I'd barely kissed all day)... No excuses from me, I love him - and I won't be seeing him this weekend, which sorta saddens me; I've pulled Frank this week... So, I'm excited about that. And also kinda intrigued about what in the hell I'm going to use for dinner scene. Sean's clothes. WASHING NEEDED. And he's not going to be there. Hence, the basic concept of going nowhere near his dinner scene costume.
I might just wear my mesh long-sleeved since you barely see it anyway and it's about as accurate as the one I used last week (Carrie's)... Who can say, really.

In any event, I am just pretty tired and I think I may even be ready for slumber in a few minutes. Maybe.

We'll see.

This past weekend was pretty much a rush of "yay!"
On Friday I spent lots of time with Genevieve, Michael, Marc, and Danielle. We went to Hedwig in the City and had a fucking amazing time! We danced, we sang, we said almost every line of dialogue. I thought the audience would hate us, but they seemed generally amused by enthusiasm.
We got back to Mike and Genn's and apparently I was reeeeally tired and said lots of stuff I don't remember. Ah, well. I'm a fun "drunk" I guess.
We slept til like 4 on Saturday. Then we took showers (spearately) and generally rambled to each other until we had to go eat. We ate at the Red Hawk Diner at MSU and then picked up Marc.
Well, to pass time before Rocky I read excerpts from The Vagina Monologues which really amused everyone. And so, Danielle, Genn, and Mike decided that I was going to read it for pre-show some time in the future. The future was then.
Larry said I could. As it was he seemed really distracted; this was Tim's last night. No one really knew (well, some people did apparently) until that night and that really irritated Larry. As for the show, outside of behind-the-scenes-drama, it went well I thought.

For the pre-show, I borrowed Genn's Gnosis shirt, glitterized a cross on my forehead and did some weird make-up thing with my eyes. I recited "Reclaiming Cunt" and "BEcause He Liked to Look at It" to Liz's interpretive dance. We got a great response; we had fun!
The show went on as normal; the new "Time Warp" choreography went well and we didn't fuck up! The Lab Scenes went over well, and I did Cling-to-the-Thigh Transie. It was a good show, much better than Lingerie Night.
We made a cameo at the diner later, but all in all it was a quiet night.
Good stuff, though.
